When you register for an account with MRE Journalism Contest, a.k.a. Military Reporters & Editors, Inc. (MRE) you understand, acknowledge and agree to the following:

- You are voluntarily providing MRE Journalism Contest, a.k.a. Military Reporters & Editors (MRE) with personal information including: your first name, last name, email address and username.
- Your personal information is used by MRE for the purpose of account creation, administration and contest management.
- Your information may be shared with those providing the MRE website with operational assistance and a panel of MRE Journalism Contest judges operating independently of MRE.
- Your personal information is not shared with anyone outside of the operation or administration of the MRE Journalism Contest.
- MRE considers all personal information private and privileged.
- This data is retained only for as long as MRE deems necessary.
MRE takes reasonable measures to ensure the security of its website and data, but assumes no liability. By creating an account you acknowlede this limitation.
